GEORGIA JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION
Our Mission:
The mission of the Georgia Junior Golf Association is to promote the enjoyment and competition of golf by providing young golfers with a quality tour and league under USGA rules of golf. To enhance the skills, knowledge, and enjoyment of the game of golf to every junior involved.
Our Purpose:
To foster sports competition by providing a quality experience which enables the young golfer the opportunity to continue developing their individual skills and learning tournament skills through competitive golf. To continually grow the game of golf with more ways for the junior to enjoy involvement in the game of golf.
About the GJGA:
A program offered for the 5 - 18 year old beginning golfer to the established golfers to compete with their peers. You may be younger to compete but will have to pass a skills evaluation.
Conducts 10 - 20 single day individual tournament events. Will conduct 3 seasons for the Instructional League, Spring, Summer, and Fall
Encourages character development in young people through a strict Code of Conduct.
Promotes life skills by teaching them values such as fair play, perseverance, and appreciation of competition.
Managed professionally by a fulltime PGA Member Executive Director, Executive Assistant, PGA Member Tour Director. The GJGA will solicit professional help from PGM College programs and the PGA of America for part time assistance.
